Who is this for?

Adults and kids ages 8 and up. This workshop is for anyone wanting to feel more prepared for outdoor adventures of any kind, and people who like to have fun while learning.  Mishaps and misadventures do happen, so it’s best to have practiced these skills in advance.

Who is coordinating this event?

Austin Roberts is an OVERhang instructor with an Adult Education diploma and is always eager to get into the outdoors. He spends his free time paddling, camping and snowmobiling. One of Austin's biggest joys is exploring the BC wilderness with his wife and two young sons. Austin began instructing with OVERhang in 2018 where he was able to share and expand his outdoor knowledge into a teaching environment to educate others. He prioritizes safety and everyone learning at their own pace because he believes that every individual should be able to enjoy the outdoors.
