First Responder

Our First Responder (FR) course provides the essential skills and certifications needed to start your career in emergency services. With full EMALB Schedule 1 and 2 endorsements, no additional "Scope Update" training is required. This comprehensive, hands-on course is designed to meet provincial licensing standards and prepare responders for real-world medical emergencies. Our FR course includes full training in Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy.

 

Duration: 40 hours (5 days)

Time: M-F 8:30 - 4:30  

Cost: $700 +GST

Completion:

  •  Successfully demonstrate the required skills
  • Minimum 75% mark for written, closed book, knowledge evaluation
  • Successfully complete two evaluated scenarios (one each, medical and trauma)
  • Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Certification:

  • 3-year certification in First Responder (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)
